Our Mission
Friends of Western Promenade (FoWP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of Portland’s historic Western Promenade for public benefit. FoWP will:
be an advocate for the Western Promenade
be a source of information and education on the park
reference the Master Plan to inform and guide its preservation, restoration and rehabilitation efforts
raise funds for capital improvements identified in the Master Plan
be a collaborative partner with the City of Portland in effecting its mission
